The moon was rising behind Salisbury Crags which overlooks Edinburgh city centre and the Southside. I was beetling about different streets, lanes, hanging off fences, leaning around parked cars trying to get the best view without buildings, trees, or structures blocking the view. Then I waited for someone to walk into the frame to complete the shot. I was so very lucky that these two characters decided to stand still just long enough to get a decent shot.

The time was 16.35 on 3rd December 2025, just in case you think this might be you. One of them (you?) has a very distinctive floppy haircut.
