The moon was rising behind Arthur’s Seat which overlooks Edinburgh city centre and the Southside. I was beetling about different streets, lanes, hanging off fences, leaning around parked cars trying to get the best view without buildings, trees, or structures blocking the view. Then I waited for someone to walk into the frame to complete the shot. I caught them as they swung their backpack on.

The time was about 16.10 on 3rd December 2025, just in case you think this might be you.
